Hunger Elimination & Advocacy Team

Mission:

To eliminate hunger and advocate for domestic and international policies to address the root causes of hunger.

In response to Christ’s call to feed his sheep, we:

• Provide educational opportunities

• Improve networking and communication among congregations and ministries

• Help to facilitate the Domestic Hunger Grant process

• Support local hunger ministries and raise awareness of global hunger issues

• Empower individuals to speak on behalf of the hungry

Serving, Connecting, & Equipping Congregations:

The Hunger Team can equip congregations with educational resources and training opportunities, connect them with other local congregations and organizations providing similar or supplemental hunger relief, and provide information on available grants.
